Wisdom

I wish all the people watched this interview of Tupac Shakur at the age of only 17. I truly find it hard to find as inspirational human beings as he was.
It’s a rainy day and I should be writing a 4000 word essay. Don’t feel like it at all.

Many other vintage stores are located in Carrer de la Riera Baixa in El Raval.

Another nice shopping street is Carrer de Avinyo, which has several cool stores. There are also some vintage stores around the Gotic area.

Second Hand Stores

There are twelve Humana stores around Barcelona.
Find the addresses here.

Cafes

There isn’t a particular place I can suggest to have a coffee. Honestly, you can get good coffee nearly everywhere here. Just try something else than Starbucks and other chains and you’ll be fine!

Restaurants

I don’t eat in restaurants that much as Barcelona is my home town at the moment and I’m not on a vacation. Haha. And I’m also a student. But some places worth mentioning are:

Kibuka (Sushi)
Address: Carrer de Goya 9
Address: Carrer de Verdi 64
Take away address: Torrent de L´olla 23
(All in Gracia area)

Address: Marquès De L´argenteria 1 BIS 08003

Sushiya 2

Address: Carrer de Cometa 3 08002

Istanbul (Turkish)
Address: You can find them all over but we usually go to the one in Barceloneta.

Dionisos (Greek)
Address: Avinyo Marqués De L´argentera 27
(You can find Dionisos in other areas as well)

Placa George Orwell is a nice square with small restaurants in the Gotic area. El Born area has also many nice restaurants. Don’t hesitate to try them.

Favorite Areas in Barcelona

Barceloneta
Why: Beach and random fiestas

El Born

Why: Restaurants & Atmosphere

El Raval
Why: Vintage stores, skate stores, people and atmosphere

El Gotic
Why: Atmosphere, Restaurants and architecture

Gracia
Why: Restaurants and some nice streets with cool buildings

Hotels

No clue! We spent two days in a hostel before we got our apartment so I have no idea about where to stay. Google is a God, you can find answers to everything and I mean e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g.

Bars

Okay this is nearly impossible to list bars where to go in Barcelona, at least for me. We usually just go anywhere that looks decent around the area where we might be. There are some really really nice ones in El Born and El Gotic neighborhoods.

Clubs

Razzmatazz in general is pretty nice for partying. Just don’t go there before 1-2 am. It’s dead. Another nice place for partying is definitely Apolo. I just recently heard that they renewed Nevermind as a skater bar.

Cinemas

The one and only cinema I go here is Icaria. It’s one of the only cinemas that play movies with their original languages. (All the original language movies are marked with V.O.S signs)

Hope you guys find this useful!
